A Good Year

It's time to celebrate our first year of being very happily married.

I can't take the credit for bringing home that fantastic bottle of champagne - it was all my wife's idea, proving once again that I'd be nowhere without her.

You always hear people saying that the first year is the toughest. Well if that's true, then I think we're really blessed - and very lucky. Every time I think of my wife I know I'm the luckiest man in the world, and the years ahead are just going to be filled with more happy memories...

Ciao Italia!

We spent 10 days in Rome, Florence, and Venice.
Italy is a wonderful, amazing, and magical place. I can't say enough about how wonderful the experience was. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was unbelievably relaxing, the setting is just absolutely magical (especially Venice).

We had a layover in Zurich for about eight hours, and although it was just a few hours, we liked it a lot - enough to think that maybe Switzerland will be our next travel destination.

Oh, and for the record, Swiss is a wonderful airline.

*sigh*. Vacation. always too short.
