Buzz
reading Ed Koch's latest book, Buzz.
Quite good, and a number of valuable insights that I can see applying in my professional life.
I've always been a big fan of his though, so I was probably bound to say that no matter what.
He also makes mention of a regular e-mail newsletter he sends, which I'll probably sign up to receive.

A Free Man
Friday, August 3, 2007 was my last day as an employee at my most recent employer.
Without divulging too much of the details here, it should suffice to say that a major opportunity at a very prestigious firm was presented to me, which I have decided to pursue.
But before starting that next chapter in my career, I've decided to take three weeks off, so that I can be fully immersed in my own intimidating fears and doubts of whether or not I'll actually be able to do this job.
Originally I was planning to distract myself with the busy cleaning, light remodeling, and moving into the apartment we just closed on, but that won't happen anytime soon seeing as how the current owner will continue to reside there through the 20th.
Just what - in the world - am I possibly going to do to fill my time?
